Job Responsibilities:
Hands on experience in independently carrying out the work and time studies
Experience in concept development, making proposals and implementation of methods improvements aimed at line balancing, capacity enhancements and productivity improvements. Hands on experience in proposing – new / modifications to the Plant layouts and Material handling systems.

Experience in productivity improvements through activity deskilling and automation concepts.Knowledge on Pneumatics and hydraulics application is desirable.Knowledge of concepts like MOST, Line balancing, Cellular manufacturing and Lean manufacturing. Value Engineering and cost estimation.Knowledge of Quality Management, EHS, Six Sigma, 5S, desirable.Working Knowledge of AutoCAD essential.Support / champion the business group of methods improvement, controls & automation.

Proposing and implementing new plant layouts, changes to existing plant layouts and improvements to material handling systems.Carrying out work studies, time and motion studies, analyzing the results, making proposals for improvements, and carrying out the implementation of the approved projects.Proposing and implementing alternate methods including low cost automation aimed at improved productivity & capacity.Additional responsibilities include improvement initiatives in the areas of 5S, EHS, Ergonomics, Quality Management, Six Sigma, TQM etc.,

Candidate Profile:
BE in Industrial Engineering, Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering is preferable.
Working experience in an engineering project desirable.
Experience : 7 - 10 yrs.
